The Gryphon Apex Mono is built to give you complete control over your loudspeakers, even with difficult loads. Its pure Class A design delivers 225 watts into 8 ohms and scales dramatically as impedance drops, reaching 1,690 watts into 1 ohm. That enormous current reserve helps the amplifier stay composed when music becomes demanding.

You'll also hear the benefit of a massive, carefully engineered power supply. Each Mono uses 128 high-current bipolar output transistors, more than 2 Farads of capacitor storage, and four 2,000VA toroidal transformers across the pair. Zero global negative feedback and a Class A J-FET input stage help keep the presentation clean, fast, and natural.
