One of hi-fi's most iconic speakers, remastered with 50 years of Wilson engineering it never originally had.

Reviewing an earlier generation, Martin Colloms of HiFiCritic noted that "an accumulation of small gains" results in significant overall benefits.

The original WATT/Puppy went through eight evolutions between 1986 and 2011 and became one of the most recognizable loudspeaker designs in high-end audio history. This remaster picks up thirteen years after that lineage retired, built around a simple guiding question: what would the WATT/Puppy look like if David Wilson had access to the materials and engineering Wilson Audio has today.

The answer draws on real flagship-level technology — the same AlNiCo QuadraMag midrange used across the Alexx V, Alexia V, and Sasha V, plus refined X-Material bracing and enclosure work, S-Material midrange coupling, and V-Material vibration isolation at the WATT-to-Puppy interface. The signature rear handle, originally a practical detail for David Wilson to carry his studio monitors to recording sessions, carries forward too — a design touch on a speaker still shaped by function first.

If you've always wanted to hear what made the WATT/Puppy a legend, now built with everything Wilson Audio has learned since, this is that speaker.
