The low-frequency information hiding in your music, finally recovered instead of skipped over.

Paul Miller of Hi-Fi Choice said the answer to whether it improves system performance is "a resounding yes," calling it a sub that augments performance while taking nothing away.

Deep in the grooves of a great LP or buried in a movie's soundtrack is the low-frequency information that gives a recording its sense of space and impact — the air of the recording hall, the weight behind an explosion. Submerge exists to recover that information rather than approximate it, built with the same precision-engineered X-Material enclosure and S-Material front baffle construction Wilson uses in its main speakers, for vibration control that outclasses the typical subwoofer market by a wide margin.

Powering it is a genuinely serious 1,600-watt amplifier, mounted directly to a massive heatsink plate on the back of the enclosure and finished with cooling fins inspired by the mountain ranges around Wilson's Utah factory. That's not just aesthetic — coupling the amp to a thick T6061 aluminum plate efficiently pulls heat away from the internal electronics, so the amplifier stays composed even under sustained, demanding output. The result is a sub built specifically to disappear into a Wilson Audio system rather than announce itself as a separate component.

If you want the bass your system has been missing without disturbing the balance you already worked hard to get right, this is the subwoofer built for that job.
