The Autobiography was built to be something closer to a memoir — every material, every driver, and every mechanical detail chosen as a direct expression of five decades of Wilson Audio's design history, from David Wilson's earliest work on time alignment through the company's most current thinking on resonance control and driver integration. It's a five-way M(MTM)M array where every single transducer was designed specifically for this system, not adapted from an existing platform.

That ground-up approach shows in details most speakers never even attempt. Independently adjustable upper and lower midrange modules let you dial in time-domain precision that Wilson says exceeds even their own WAMM Master Chronosonic and Chronosonic XVX, and it's all adjustable by hand, eye, and ear — no tools required. A rear-firing tweeter with its own attenuation control adds spatial depth and harmonic decay exactly to taste, while a reconfigurable port system lets you tune bass response to your specific room without touching a single component. Bass extension reaches an genuinely remarkable 18Hz, backed by dual woofers sized at 12 and 15 inches.
