Wilson Audio’s Autobiography loudspeaker is conceived as a sculpted memoir—an engineering narrative that captures over fifty years of innovation, refinement, and musical pursuit. Rooted in the legacy of founder David A. Wilson, it distills decades of research into time alignment, resonance control, and emotional realism into a forward-looking design. Rather than revisiting past solutions, it refines and elevates them into a cohesive, modern statement.

At its core is an entirely new five-way driver system arranged in an M(MTM)M configuration. Every transducer is purpose-built, including dual 7-inch PentaMag midranges, a CSLS tweeter, dual 2-inch midrange integration drivers, a rear-firing ambient tweeter, and newly engineered 12-inch and 15-inch woofers. Together, they deliver coherent timing, tonal neutrality, and dynamic expression across the full spectrum.

The system’s low-frequency architecture pairs dissimilar woofers into a unified acoustic voice, achieving depth, speed, and control without sacrificing nuance. Precision mechanical alignment hardware allows unprecedented time-domain accuracy and adaptability to room conditions.
