Shanling SCD1.3R SACD/CD Player - Available For Pre Order

The Shanling SCD1.3R is a high-performance SACD/CD player and digital source designed for listeners who want the convenience of modern digital playback without sacrificing the natural, engaging character of analogue sound.

At the heart of the SCD1.3R is Shanling’s proprietary 24-bit R2R DAC architecture, carefully engineered to deliver a rich, organic presentation with excellent tonal density, texture and musical flow. Compared with more conventional delta-sigma DAC designs, the SCD1.3R places particular emphasis on natural timbre and dimensionality, making vocals more lifelike, instruments more tangible and recordings more emotionally engaging.

The SCD1.3R is far more than a disc player. It combines SACD and CD playback with high-resolution digital connectivity and network streaming, making it an exceptionally versatile source component for a modern two-channel system. Its balanced and single-ended analogue outputs allow it to integrate easily with a wide range of preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers.

Its substantial chassis, precision disc transport and high-quality internal power supply reflect Shanling’s commitment to serious digital playback.

For systems that are already highly resolving, the SCD1.3R can be particularly compelling, adding body, texture and musicality without sacrificing the detail and spatial information expected from a high-end digital source.

For the listener who wants digital convenience with a distinctly natural and analogue-inspired presentation, the Shanling SCD1.3R is an exceptionally versatile and musical choice.
