Part of Nordost’s Norse series, it combines silver-plated solid-core conductors, specialized insulation and AC-optimized shielding to help maintain a stable path for power delivery. Its construction is designed to reduce unwanted electrical interference and mechanical resonance that can affect the environment around your audio components.
At its core are three 16 AWG, silver-plated solid-core oxygen-free copper conductors. Nordost wraps each conductor in its proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology before applying extruded FEP insulation. This creates a virtual air dielectric around the conductor, supporting rapid power transfer while providing mechanical damping. Mechanically Tuned Lengths are also used to optimize conductor resonances.
A 90% overall shield helps protect against external interference while containing electromagnetic noise generated by connected equipment. Available with US, EU, UK or Australian wall plugs and an IEC-C15 equipment connector, the Heimdall 3 can be configured for a range of audio systems and compatible components.
