The McIntosh MA5300 gives you a complete two-channel system hub with 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 160 watts into 4 ohms. Its direct-coupled amplifier section uses high-current output transistors and McIntosh Power Guard® to deliver clean, controlled power while helping protect your speakers from clipping. The familiar blue power meters also give you an immediate visual indication of the amplifier's output.

You can connect virtually any source you have, from a turntable to a digital streamer. Six analog inputs include balanced XLR, four unbalanced connections, and a dedicated Moving Magnet phono input, while six digital inputs are provided through the DA1 Digital Audio Module. USB playback supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit, along with DSD256 and DXD, and the modular design allows the DA1 to be upgraded to the optional DA2 module as digital technology evolves.

For everyday listening, the MA5300 adds useful control without complicating the system. Bass and treble controls let you fine-tune the presentation, while the High Drive headphone amplifier with HXD® provides a dedicated output for personal listening. Home Theater PassThru also makes it easy to integrate the MA5300 into a larger AV system.
