CD, streaming, and high-end digital conversion in one box.

"The most capable digital-to-analogue converter we've ever reviewed." — What Hi-Fi?

"A major advance in digital sound reproduction." — Stereophile

The dCS Rossini APEX Player gives you a complete digital front end without needing separate transport, streamer, and DAC components. You can play CDs, stream music over your network, or connect external digital sources, with dCS's Ring DAC APEX handling the final conversion. Automatic upsampling to DXD or DSD lets you choose how your digital sources are processed before conversion.

You'll get the same attention to timing and detail whether you're listening to a disc or a streamed album. The Rossini APEX supports PCM, DSD, and MQA, with Ethernet, USB, AES3, S/PDIF, and optical connections giving you plenty of ways to connect your digital library. Network playback also supports services including TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify Connect, and internet radio.

The result is a highly capable single-box digital source that doesn't sacrifice performance for convenience. Stereophile found the APEX version brought significant improvements in bass, texture, detail, and coherence over the original Rossini, while What Hi-Fi? praised its detail, dynamics, and authority.

Perfect for listeners who want reference-level digital playback without building a separate stack of digital components.
