All-tube integrated amplifier
The Jazz 80 is a pure vacuum-tube integrated amp built around classic Cayin engineering, aimed squarely at traditional two-channel audiophiles.
Two factory versions:
Jazz 80 (KT88 version) more power, tighter bass, greater headroom
Jazz 80 (EL34 version) warmer mids, more romantic presentation
Tube type is fixed per model (not switchable)
Triode / Ultralinear operation (user-selectable)
Front-panel or top-panel switching allows the listener to change amplifier topology
* Triode mode:
Lower output power
Smoother, more harmonically dense presentation
Exceptional midrange liquidity and intimacy
* Ultralinear mode:
Higher output power
Better bass control and dynamics
More neutral, extended frequency response
Class AB push-pull output stage
Balances tube warmth with real-world speaker drive capability.
Power output (approx.)
Ultralinear: ~40–50 W per channel (tube-dependent)
Triode: ~20–25 W per channel
Manual bias adjustment
Accessible test points make tube maintenance and rolling straightforward.
High-quality output transformers
In-house Cayin transformers are key to the Jazz 80’s low noise floor and wide bandwidth.
Analog line-level inputs
Multiple RCA inputs for DACs, streamers, phono stages, etc.
Classic Cayin industrial design
Exposed tubes, VU meters, and a solid metal chassis with retro appeal.
Protection & reliability features
Soft start, tube protection, and stable biasing for long-term ownership.
