The Bryston BR-20 brings your music system together in one versatile component, combining a fully balanced analog preamplifier, high-resolution DAC, and network streamer. Its discrete Class A analog circuitry is designed for exceptionally low noise and distortion, helping preserve the detail, dynamics, and natural character of your recordings. With two balanced outputs, it also pairs easily with a high-performance power amplifier.
Enjoy music from almost any source, whether you're streaming from your network, playing digital files, or connecting a CD transport. The built-in DAC supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256, while digital inputs include USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical connections. Four analog inputs—two balanced XLR and two RCA—accommodate your existing components, with an optional moving-magnet phono stage for vinyl and an optional HDMI module for compatible audio and video sources.
The BR-20 also makes everyday listening more convenient. Its dedicated headphone amplifier is designed to handle demanding headphones, while the included remote and network-based web interface let you control playback and volume from your listening position or a connected device. Separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections help keep the circuitry operating cleanly.
