Get more from your digital music collection with the Bryston BDA-3, a high-performance digital-to-analog converter designed to bring clarity, detail and natural tonal balance to your listening system. Its support for PCM audio up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256 lets you enjoy high-resolution recordings, while selectable upsampling gives you additional control over how compatible digital sources are processed.
With four HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, AES/EBU, coaxial RCA, coaxial BNC and optical connections, the BDA-3 makes it easy to connect a variety of digital sources, including disc players, computers and music servers. HDMI audio support also lets compatible disc players serve as high-quality audio sources, while HDMI video pass-through helps keep your system tidy.
Inside, separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections help isolate sensitive audio circuitry, and the fully discrete Class A balanced analog output stage is designed to preserve the fine details in your recordings. Balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs give you flexibility when connecting to your preamplifier or integrated amplifier. With network, RS-232, infrared and 12V trigger control, the BDA-3 can also integrate into a more sophisticated home audio system.
Ideal for dedicated music listeners who want reference-quality digital conversion, extensive source connectivity and support for high-resolution PCM and DSD playback.
