Atohm builds its own drivers in-house, and it shows: the C150 bass drivers and 20mm silk-dome tweeter are matched to within ±0.25dB of each other before they're even installed, so the left and right channels stay genuinely identical. Inside, Atohm's SWD (Standing Wave Damper) technology uses a laminar absorption cavity to kill resonances that would otherwise muddy the upper bass and lower midrange, and a deliberately simple 6dB/octave crossover — rather than the steep, complex slopes many competitors use — keeps phase coherence intact and makes the speaker genuinely easy to drive with a wide range of amplifiers.
