This Dac made MSB into the company it is today. It is unfailingly musical, with its uncanny ability to reproduce lovely sound even with average recordings. And it does so without losing resolution. At its core is the custom designed ladder dac, a technology that MSB made famous. Additionally the volume control and analog stage is so good that it will outperform most preamps so you can connect directly to your amplifier.
I can confidently say that there is no dac anywhere near this price that sounds as good or built as well
