Stream to a McIntosh of Any Era.

McIntosh is proud to announce the new MB20 Bluetooth Transceiver.

The MB20 Bluetooth Transceiver is an easy and simple solution to add McIntosh quality Bluetooth streaming capabilities to virtually any McIntosh (or non-McIntosh) home audio system of any era.

It is a small, stand-alone, complete Bluetooth streaming solution. The MB20 can function as either a Bluetooth Receiver or Transmitter. Simply set the switch on the back panel to the desired usage.

As a transmitter/receiver, the MB20 has been designed to provide a superior Bluetooth connection to audio equipment that lacks Bluetooth capabilities. It has been engineered as a Class 1 Bluetooth device. Class 1 devices can typically operate at a range of up to 150 feet (45.7 meters) in ideal conditions with limited obstructions.

The compact MB20 comes with a variety of connectors for your home audio system – most notable are analog balanced inputs and outputs which makes it one of the only Bluetooth transceivers to offer these superior audio connections. Analog unbalanced inputs and outputs are also included. For digital devices, it has coaxial and optical inputs and outputs.

The MB20 uses Bluetooth 5.0 with support for high bitrate AAC and aptX™ HD. When used as a Receiver, the MB20 uses a high-performance 32-192 DAC for optimum sound quality. Digital output to an outboard DAC is fixed at 96kHz to maximize performance and maintain audio signal integrity. When in Transmitter mode, it uses an equally capable high-performance ADC.

It includes a wall mount charger with adapters for most common electrical outlets used around the world. The black aluminum and black glass MB20 will fit right in with your McIntosh system.
