The Hegel H200 gives you a complete high-performance music system without requiring a stack of separate components. You'll get 150 watts per channel of Class AB amplification, along with Hegel's SoundEngine2 technology and a damping factor above 4000. That combination gives you tight control over your speakers, helping bass notes start and stop cleanly while keeping complex music composed and detailed. The amplifier is also stable with speaker loads down to 2 ohms, giving you plenty of flexibility when choosing speakers.
You'll have just as much flexibility with your sources. The H200 combines a high-performance DAC, network streaming, USB playback, and a dedicated MM phono stage in the same chassis. You can stream through Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, or UPnP, while the USB-A input lets you play music directly from a USB drive. The built-in MM phono stage is based on the phono section of Hegel's V10 and uses hand-matched FET transistor gain stages, giving your turntable a proper place in the system rather than treating phono as an afterthought.
You'll also find the H200 easy to live with as your system evolves. Its balanced XLR and RCA inputs accommodate external sources, while variable and fixed RCA outputs give you options for adding equipment later. Digital Input Sense can automatically wake the amplifier and select an active input, and the Hegel Control app handles input selection, volume, playback, internet radio, and music libraries. With automatic software updates and a DAC Loop that can send digital signals to an external DAC, the H200 can remain the center of your system even as your components change.
