This is one of the finest all in one streamer/dac/preamps on the market. Connect to your amp and you’re done! You don’t need a preamp unless you have an amazing one.
This is so good that we routinely use it when we do our video reviews of top end equipment.
Comes loaded with virtually all digital format inputs including HDMI, as well as ARC so you can connect your tv for much better sound.
No need to add another DAC as the one built in is absolutely superb. You’d have to spend many thousands more to get a DAC that will outperform it.
And one of the best things about this unit is that Lumin constant sends firmware updates to improve it.
