We sold this preamp to the seller, delivered and installed around April 2000. He has a few of this preamp, and is selling due to massive upgrade
For a few years, this was D'Agostino's top preamp, finally eclipsed by the Relentless preamp.
It comes in 2 solid aluminum enclosures, The base acts as a stand and also houses the power supply. This ensures that all the noise is separated from the main preamp.
It is a fully balanced design, with ONLY XLR inputs and outputs. The remote control is Bluetooth so you no longer have to point it at the preamp.
The Momentum HD Preamp was upgraded from the original Momentum preamp because of the work that the company had done on the top of the line, Relentless preamp. They wanted to get the effortless dynamics, dynamic contrast and detail that they heard from the Relentless. The result is the Momentum HD Preamp swings over 40 Volts at the output, with extraordinary dynamics and low level detail beyond the original design.
